R. Thomas Powers – President and Chief Operating Officer. Over 30 years of finance, development and operational experience in real estate, including master planned communities, resort/residential golf facilities and commercial properties (office and retail). Mr. Powers graduated from East Carolina University in 1970 with a BA Degree – Urban Planning and Economics; and in 1975 with an MA in Economics/Regional Economic Development. He completed course curricula in the Graduate Program of International Economics (MA) at George Washington University in 1980. Professional experience:
Daniel C. Koscher – Director and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Koscher joined Bluegreen Communities in 1986, and has served in various management positions including Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President for Planning and Budgeting. In 1996 he became Senior Vice President of the Corporation and President, Bluegreen Communities. In 2005 Mr. Koscher was elected Chief Executive Officer of Bluegreen Communities. Mr. Koscher holds a B.B.A in Accounting from the University of San Diego (1983) and an MBA from National University (1985). Mr. Koscher is a full member of ULI and is a Registered Resort Professional. Terrell Jones – Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Jones’s oversees project financial analyses, project construction and operational budgeting, and sets up IT systems needed within the client’s company or in the field to assure that all aspects of revenues and expenses are properly accounted for. Mr. Jones joined Bluegreen Corporation in 1997 and is currently Senior Vice President, Bluegreen Communities. Prior to joining Bluegreen Mr. Jones held various financial management positions with General Development Corporation. Mr. Jones holds a BA in Business with honors from the University of Denver. Patrick Rondeau, Esquire – Vice President, General Counsel. Mr. Rondeau oversees permitting and zoning issues; draws up/reviews all community Covenants and Restrictions and Design Guidelines; and interfaces with the client and PREAS team on all legal matters impacting the business. Mr. Rondeau was General Council for Bluegreen Corporation from June 1990 thru October 2001. From 2001-2003 he was Owner & Principal of a Virginia based real estate firm. Mr. Rondeau served in private practice in Massachusetts with Freedman, DeRosa & Rondeau in North Adams, MA from January 2003 until joining PREAS in 2007. Mr. Rondeau earned his BA form Lebanon Valley College (1969) and his JD from Suffolk University Law School (1972). Stephen Davis – Vice President, Development and Engineering Services. Mr. Davis’ oversees all project engineering, construction and permit maintenance. He interfaces directly with project contractors; maintains a tight reign on construction budgets; and sees that all local, State and Federal building and development codes and permits are strictly adhered to. Prior to joining Bluegreen Communities, Mr. Davis served as President and CEO of MasterPlan Development, a company that acquired, entitled and developed master planned communities throughout Texas. Mr. Davis earned his BA-Business from Baylor University in 1992, where he also played on the NCAA football team. David Verani – Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Mr. Verani is responsible for all project sales, including budgeting; hiring and maintaining the sales team; training and retaining quality sales professionals; insuring that sales puts 100% of their focus on enhancing product knowledge, gaining appointments, tours and sales, and following up on customer service issues. Mr. Verani was Owner & Principal in his New Hampshire based real estate development company from 2004 thru 2008. Mr. Verani was Director of Sales for Bluegreen Communities from 1995 until 2004. In this capacity he oversaw sales and marketing implementation in all sales offices as the Company grew from 6 to 15 operating communities. Prior to 1995 Mr. Verani worked as Vice President with the Resolution Trust Corporation. His major accomplishments included liquating commercial real estate from 27 failed New England banks, totaling $70 million in value.
